In addition to our dance programs, En L’air also offers barre, pilates, and yoga classes. These classes are offered weekly all year long and can be purchased in 5 or 10 class packages. Drop ins are also welcome for $12 per class. Class space is limited, so please register in advance for the class(es) you would like to attend each week by simply clicking on the register link in the schedules below. Zen Barre
Zen Barre is a dynamic workout designed to shape and tone muscles, build core strength, and allow you to escape the everyday tensions we hold in our bodies.
Incorporating classic ballet positions with modern music and easy-to-follow instructions, we have designed a safe, effective way to get strong. We use light handheld weights, ankle weights, and elastic bands to awaken, stimulate, and activate powerful musculature. The Zen portion comes from a deep awareness of breath as we quiet the mind reminding us to be present with each move.
Please bring your own mat as the studio’s supply is limited. All barre classes are offered in-studio as well as streamed virtually. Please register by 3 pm on the day of your class so we can anticipate the number of in person participants and email the link to those participating virtually. A credit card is required at registration.
Mat Pilates
Mat Pilates is the floor work version of Pilates. Focus is placed on precise movements originating from the center or core of your body. Working from the deepest layers of muscles, which stabilize and support your spine and pelvis. You will learn to be aware of breathing patterns and spinal alignment while engaging the core.
No previous Pilates experience is necessary. Please bring your own mat as the studio’s supply is limited. All pilates classes are offered in-studio as well as streamed virtually. Yoga Flow
Yoga Flow is a one hour vinyasa style yoga class where you will learn to connect your breath with movement.
Our instructor offers a full spectrum of poses focusing on proper alignment and its therapeutic benefits. You can expect sun salutations, forward folds, hip openers, shoulder openers, balancing, and backbends.
This class is for all levels. Modifications will be provided so no prior experience is necessary. Come ready to be inspired, sweat, and leave feeling a little bit lighter!
